This kindergarten is open from 8:30am – 2:30pm and closes for school holidays.

Our kindergarten is situated in the heart of North East Valley where education is valued and supported within the community. We provide a well resourced environment that is responsive to children’s learning pathways and encourages children to be responsible for leading their own learning. ICT is an integral part of our programme where we value both team teaching and the environment as another teacher.

Our History

1926 North East Valley Kindergarten opened in Millar St Hall and then moved to the Bowling Green Pavilion. It closed in 1931 due to the depression and reopened in 1937. It moved into its own building in 1953 as Jonathan Rhodes Kindergarten and in 2012 their new building was opened.
